A fun weekend with the West Family

Along with Lagoon we had a few more parties. Sunday night we had a hot dog roast with both of my brothers and their kids. THe kids had a ball playing with each other and we had a nice time visiting. Monday night we had a fun family home evening at Rich and Kristie's house. After pizza dinner and a nice lesson the kids made halloween houses with grahm crackers and all the fixings. I did not have my camera this night, but the houses turned out way cute. Along with all this I was canning our grape juice. My parents are so nice to grow concord grapes for us to juice every year. My family just loves it. So every fall I try to get as much juice as possible, this year we ended up with 37 jars! Not too bad. My parents were such a big help ~ Thanks Mom and Dad!

My Dad also had a fun outing with the kids star gazing. He equipped both kids with binoculars and took them out about 9 to look at the stars. So fun.
